Student Vote Ontario, a program of CIVIX, sees elementary and secondary school students cast ballots for candidates in their schools’ electoral districts.
The results for Barrie-Innisfil are as follows:
- Pekka Reinio (NDP): 687 (28.98 per cent)
- Andrea Khanjin (PC): 491 (20.71 per cent)
- Bonnie North (Green): 409 (17.25 per cent)
- Josh Olthuis (Liberal): 316 (13.33 per cent)
- Ashlyn Steele (New Blue): 146 (6.16 per cent)
- Grace Dean (Ontario Party): 132 (5.57 per cent)
- Benjamin Hughes (independent): 118 (4.98 per cent)
- Jake Tucker (Ontario People’s Front): 72 (3.04 per cent)
