To my Valued Customers…
In our Christmas letter, we said that there would be changes coming in the New Year. As of Sat., March 22nd, I will be retiring after 36+ years in The Nook. It was not an easy decision to make as this has been a big part of my life for almost half of my lifetime but it is time to take things easy and spend more time with my hubby and family.
Many thanks to all those who have supported us through the years. Many have become good friends and the hardest part will be not seeing you all on a regular basis. No small business can survive without the support of the community and I thank you for your patronage. We also depend on a good staff to help run our business and we have been very fortunate to have had many wonderful staff members through the years. Kathy (after 27 years) and I will be leaving together but Lesley & Sujata will be familiar faces staying on to help the new owner.
The store will reopen in May after the new owner has completed significant alterations.
