Laureate College is thrilled to launch its all-new After School Art and Music Programs, designed to inspire creativity, nurture talent, and foster meaningful connections for families and individuals of all ages. Our programs are built on the belief that the arts are more than just hobbies—they are gateways to cognitive and emotional development, fine motor skill enhancement, and a balanced, socially enriching experience.
Discover the Joy of Music
We are excited to introduce the Burlington Children’s Choir, welcoming both Junior and Senior groups to experience the magic of vocal harmony. Under the expert direction of Dr. Lina Li, our Music Director, children will develop their musical talents and teamwork skills in a supportive and fun environment. For those interested in instruments, private and group piano lessons are also available, offering an individualized approach to musical mastery.
Explore the World of Visual Arts
For our young artists aged 5-7, the Young Artists Program provides a playful and emotionally engaging introduction to art, fostering creativity and connection through child-at-play structures.
For older children, the Art Studio 7 and Up offers the perfect opportunity to refine sketching and drawing skills while exploring traditional mediums such as watercolor, acrylics, and oil pastels.
Aspiring artists aged 12 and up can join our Special Fine Arts Studio, led by the acclaimed Master Tritan Braho (Rukaj Gallery). This program is perfect for students aiming to build a professional-grade portfolio for university or college applications, featuring high-quality exercises and advanced techniques.
For Creative Teens, our Illustration and Character Design Studio offers a chance to bring stories to life! Under the guidance of Genevieve Monk (graduate of Sheridan College, Guelph University, and Queen’s University), teens will dive into the exciting world of illustration and storytelling.
Art for Adults and Seniors
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, our Adult and Senior Art Studio sessions—available in both mornings and evenings—offer the perfect environment to explore your creative potential. Ixchel Suarez, Laureate College’s Visual Arts Director, will guide participants in creating stunning works of art, regardless of prior experience.
