InnisfilToday welcomes letters to the editor at [email protected] or via the website. Please include your full name, daytime phone number and address (for verification of authorship, not publication). The following is in response to the article ''Enough is enough': Innisfil councillor, restaurateur upset by latest Lockhart closure' published Nov. 8.

I was “raised“ in Innisfil since the 1950s and grew to love this town. Over time, I have built three homes here and expected to remain until it was no longer possible.

Regrettably, I left my beloved town a short while ago as I read the writing on the wall.

This town is gone and what is left is nothing but an expensive suburb.

I have fought the fools in city hall for years, but alas, they are indifferent.

To those of you that are concerned with the way things are going — get out now!

RIP, Innisfil.
