A worsening homeless crisis. Housing, unaffordable. Food, unaffordable. And what are our leaders focusing on?

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s legacy will be legalization of marijuana and the resulting social costs of drug use.

Premier Doug Ford? His priority is putting alcohol sales in as many outlets as possible, diverting money from LCBO sales from going to hospitals into the hands of his business buddies. And privatizing healthcare at the expense of our universal healthcare — how is this helping the ever-growing number of Canadians in need? It’s not. Instead, it is putting more money into the hands of the rich and powerful at the expense of Canadians struggling just to survive, of the many children already living in poverty.

This is not leadership. This is exploitation of the struggling majority by the rich minority. Leadership like this will reduce Canada to a Third World country. This is pathetic, uncaring, un-Canadian leadership. Nothing to be proud of.
