Beach Road Market, in collaboration with the Gilford Local Eatery and Lefroy Harbour Resorts, proudly presents the second annual Gilford Winter Market (Wintermarkt).
A community event and artisan pop-up experience like no-other, this magical event transforms the Gilford Local Eatery and Lefroy Harbour Resorts Kon Tiki resort into a winter wonderland inspired by a small-town Hallmark movie. The Gilford Wintermarkt captures the charm of European Christmas markets while offering the sophistication of a larger urban event, creating a unique and unforgettable experience.
Join us for a festive atmosphere featuring a DJ spinning holiday favourites alongside 60 local vendors from Simcoe County, Kawartha, Durham Region, and Muskoka. Discover a treasure trove of giftable items, including wreaths, ornaments, art, apparel, holiday decor, candles, jewelry, and ceramics, all set against a backdrop of a winter wonderland, speakeasy, tavern, and stunning photo vignettes illuminated by twinkling lights.
“This year, we’re excited to offer extended market hours and a special Story with Santa experience and group carolling/signing performance led by vocalist Lana Sings from 5 to 6 p.m., complete with candy canes from our ‘elf’ helpers at Simcoe Kids Dental,” shares Kelsey Aman, founder of Beach Road Market. “Giving back is an integral part of our market, and we’re thrilled to continue the tradition of our hand-painted glühwein keepsake mugs, with all proceeds supporting Innisfil Community for Kids.”
In addition, those visiting the Sarah Bakker Homes Stocking Stuffer/Speakeasy will receive one of 50 stockings to fill as they shop our mini-stalls. Stockings, and the Beach Road Market gift-wrapping table, are available with a donation for the Innisfil Food Bank.

3 p.m.: Viking re-enactment battle scene:
Step back in time with an exhilarating Viking re-enactment, brought to you by Hird Hafn Huntsville. This captivating performance is a must-see for history enthusiasts and the perfect way to meet a Viking while shopping for gifts.
5 to 6 p.m.: Storytime with Santa at Simcoe Kids Dental Candy Cane Lane:
Gather your family and friends for a magical evening. From 5 to 6 p.m., join us in welcoming Santa as he shares a heartfelt reading of the beloved classic, ’Twas the Night Before Christmas, along with some special surprises.
Portrait drawings in the San Diego Homes Tavern:
Experience the mystical in the cozy ambiance of the tavern, where you can enjoy tarot readings. Indulge in a charcuterie wall, roasted almonds, and non-alcoholic beverages while you relax.
Stocking stuffers and signature cocktails in the Sarah Bakker Homes Speakeasy:
Explore nine curated vendors offering unique ‘mini’ stocking stuffers. Bring a non-perishable food donation or cash donation for the Innisfil Food Bank and receive a complimentary stocking to fill as you shop. Enjoy wine and signature cocktails to make your holiday shopping even more delightful.
Visit the medieval ale house and castle:
Explore a medieval ale house, where you’ll enjoy an immersive medieval experience with The Kingdom of Ealdormere including a kids-sized castle, hands-on activities, classic weaponry and apparel, and a chance to meet the Canton of Beremere Seneschal, all while learning about the rich history of the Middle Ages.
Art exhibit and artisan keepsake ‘glühwein’ mugs:
Don’t miss the chance to pick up a hand-painted glühwein holiday mug by artist Maria Kelebeev. Each mug is a unique piece of art, making it a perfect keepsake or collector’s item. Limited quantities are available, with 100 per cent of the proceeds supporting Innisfil Community for Kids. See nine original murals from the same artist.
