A production based on an iconic comic strip is coming to the South Simcoe Theatre next month.
You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown will bring to life the beloved Charles Schulz character along with the rest of the Peanuts gang – including Lucy, Linus, Sally, Schroeder and Snoopy – as they navigate the ups and downs of everyday life, tackling the big questions that come with growing up.
“From playing baseball to struggling with homework, from discovering the true meaning of friendship to experiencing the excitement of young love, the production captures the essence of Schulz's original work while introducing a whole new generation to the magic of Peanuts,” said the theatre in a news release.
It adds the musical written by Clark Gessner, Michael Mayer, and Andrew Lippa is sure to leave you with a smile on your face and warmth in your heart.
You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Nov. 3 to 19.
