Snow squall warning issued for:
Innisfil - New Tecumseth - Angus, Ont.
Current details:
Snow squalls expected today.
Hazards:
Locally heavy snowfall with total accumulations of 15 to 20 cm.
Reduced visibility at times in heavy snow.
Timing:
Diminishing later this afternoon or early evening.
Discussion:
Lake effect snow squall bands off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay will affect portions of the area today. The strongest bands are expected to shift north of the region later this afternoon or early evening, but may return Sunday morning.
Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations.
Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
