Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) York Region South Simcoe is thrilled to be one of 12 charities selected in iA Financial Group’s annual Canada-wide philanthropic contest. CMHA’s mobile walk-in clinic (MOBYSS) for youth (aged 12-25) has the chance to win $100,000 but needs the community’s vote to make it happen.

“For nearly a decade, MOBYSS has delivered a safe space for youth during their most stressful, heartbreaking and pivotal moments,” says Kylee Goldman, Director of Services at CMHA York Region South Simcoe. “Receiving $100,000 would empower MOBYSS to expand its reach, delivering free, immediate, judgement-free physical and mental health care to more youth in our community.”

More than half of students today report moderate-to-serious levels of psychological distress, a figure that has doubled over the past decade. Youth mental health challenges are at an all-time high, and services like MOBYSS are critical in addressing this growing crisis.

Now more than ever, youth need access to free mental health services. Help MOBYSS expand its reach by submitting your vote before November 27, 2024.

Vote for MOBYSS at https://donations-contest.ia.ca/community.
