On Saturday Water Depot celebrated its grand opening at the Crossroads Plaza at 1070 Innisfil Rd. in Innisfil.
The new owners are Darla and Doug Goobie. With them to celebrate were many friends, staff, and local dignitaries.
After a quick meet and greet inside the new spacious store. everyone was directed outside to prepare for the ribbon cutting ceremony. Mayor Lynn Dollin presented a plaque and warm welcome followed by MP John Brassard and MPP Andrea Khanjin. Also on hand were councillors Ken Fowler, Alex Waters and Donna Orsatti. After the ceremony a barbecue of hot dogs and hamburgers was served.
InnisfilToday spoke with Donna Wilson Marketing Manager from Water Depot Head Office.
"This is the 37th location we have opened in Ontario. This store specializes in water treatment and U Fill Water. One of the main reasons for our success is that we filter all the water seven times before we package and sell," she said.
“We offer a free in house inspection or in store water test to determine correct product(s) for customers water treatment," added Doug Goobie.
