It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Bryan Erik Manuel on December 31st 2024. Bryan passed peacefully in his home at the age of 73. He was a loyal spouse of 51 years to Anne Manuel and together they brought three children into the world. He was a devoted and proud father to Jason (Lindy), Melissa (Alex) and Katie (James). He was the loving and adored Grampie to his only grandchild Mae. Dear brother to Randy (Diane).
Bryan had a dedicated teaching career of over 30 years, where he touched the lives of many colleagues and students along the way. He loved teaching and the different roles he took on in the school environment right up until his retirement.
Bryan had many passions outside of his career including a deep respect and interest in the environment, an overwhelming love for animals (especially cats) and he was a devoted lover of music where he would often be found with a pair of headphones on rocking out to tunes of the past.
Relatives and friends will be received at Legacy Funeral Home, 55 Cedar Pointe Drive, Barrie (Parking and entrance on Hwy 400 side of building) on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3 o’clock p.m. Family interment in the spring. He will be greatly missed by his family and loved ones, but we take comfort in knowing he is walking within the light and warmth of God.
