Passed away peacefully on July 18th, 2024, in Barrie, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Rosetta Methot. Cherished father of Marcus John Methot, and Julie Anna Methot. Son of the late Cecile and the late Leo-Paul.
Jean-Louis was born in Cap-de-Rosiers, in Quebec. He loved the outdoors, especially if he had a fishing rod in his hand any time of the year, had a love for snowmobiling and can tell you where every arena is in pretty much any town in Ontario. He was an electrician, and always willing to help a friend do some work at home. He was a wonderful storyteller, an amazing coach, and was a big part of the Markham Ringette association in which he developed friendships which continued for many years, with truly special people. He will be greatly missed by all friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Innisfil Funeral Home, on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024, from 1:00p.m. – 3:00p.m. with memories shared at 2:30p.m.
