Toronto police say a two-year-old boy has died after he was hit by an SUV in a shopping centre's parking lot.
They say it happened Saturday afternoon outside Majestic City in Toronto's east end.
Police say a 39-year-old woman was driving into the parking lot when the boy walked into the path of her vehicle.
They say the boy suffered fatal injuries.
There's no word on whether any charges will be laid.
Police are asking local residents, businesses, and drivers with security or dash camera footage to contact investigators.
