Drugs seized during 'diligent' probe into thefts from vehicles in Bradford

Three people face several property- and drug-related offences

On September 23, 2024, the South Simcoe Police Street Crime Unit began an investigation into a number of thefts from vehicles in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury. On October 7, 2024, South Simcoe Police executed a search warrant at a Bradford address in relation to this investigation. As a result, a large quantity of tools, drugs, and cash was seized, and three individuals were arrested and charged with several property and drug related offences.

36-year-old male from Bradford has been charged with the following offences:

  • Theft over $5000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000 x 5
  • Possession of proceeds of Crime
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking schedule 1 x 3
  • Possession of a controlled substance x 3
  • Fail to comply with probation order

34-year-old female from Bradford has been charged with the following offences:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 x 6
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking schedule 1 substance x3
  • Possession of a controlled substance x 3

35-year-old female from Bradford has been charged with the following offences:

  • Theft over $5000 x 2
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 x 2
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
  • Fail to comply with probation x 2

Their hard work led to the arrests and the seizure of 39 grams of suspected fentanyl, 106 grams of suspected cocaine, and a quantity of pills.
