Innisfil woman accused of driving impaired in Bradford

An Innisfil woman is being accused of driving impaired in Bradford West Gwillimbury.

South Simcoe Police say at around 2:40 p.m. on Friday, September 13, someone reported a vehicle travelling aggressively and swerving out of its lane in the area of Line 8 and Yonge Street.

Officers caught up with the vehicle, pulled it over and say the driver failed the roadside breath test.

The 43-year-old has been charged with operation while impaired - alcohol, and operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration.

“Impaired driving is a crime in progress,” said South Simcoe Police in a news release. “If you spot a suspected impaired driver, safely call 911 and we will respond.”
