An Adjala-Tosorontio man found asleep behind the wheel Tuesday morning in New Tecumseth is facing an impaired operation charge.
Shortly before 8:30 a.m., Nottawasaga OPP responded to a report of a man asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle on Young Street.
The 43-year-old man was charged with operation while impaired (alcohol and drugs). He was issued a 90-day driver’s licence suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment.
The accused has a Dec. 26 court date in Bradford.
