An Alliston man is facing a number of charges, including impaired driving, after being pulled over Sunday.
Shortly before 4 a.m., a Nottawasaga OPP officer was on patrol on 8th Avenue in New Tecumseth and saw a vehicle with an obstructed plate. A traffic stop was conducted.
A 30-year-old man was charged with operation while impaired (alcohol and drugs), operation while impaired (blood-alcohol concentration 80-plus), having an obstructed plate, failure to surrender a permit for a motor vehicle, and failure to surrender an insurance card. He was issued a 90-day licence suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment.
He has a Jan. 16 court date in Bradford.
