One person dead following house fire in Wasaga Beach

The fire was deemed not suspicious, but investigation continues

Area OPP and the Office of the Fire Marshal of Ontario are investigating a fatal fire that took place last night in Wasaga Beach. 

According to Huronia West OPP, the fire call came in at 6:15 p.m. on Nov. 5 and one person was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The fire at the home on Dunkerron Avenue has been deemed non-suspicious, however police and the fire marshal investigate all fatal fires. 

"The investigation is ongoing. Residents in the area should expect a continued presence of police and emergency services throughout the day," states the news release.
