York Regional Police have charged a Richmond Hill physiotherapist with two additional counts of sexual assault.
Officers charged Daneshvar in October after investigators received information that a victim was sexually assaulted during a physiotherapy visit at a clinic in the area of Yonge Street and Centre Street.
After notifying the public of the charge, other victims came forward to police reporting they’d been sexually assaulted by the suspect under similar circumstances.
On Nov. 21, the suspect was arrested and charged with two additional counts of sexual assault.
Investigators believe there may be other victims who have not yet come forward and they are urging them to contact police as soon as possible.
