Police looking for suspects in Trotters armed robbery

South Simcoe police are searching for suspects following an armed robbery Saturday night at the Trotters Esso gas station in Innisfil. 

At 11:20 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, police say two armed suspects entered the gas bar, located at 5479 Yonge St., and demanded access to the cash register. 

One of the suspects was armed with a knife, and it is believed that the second suspect was in possession of a firearm, police stated in a news release.

Cash was obtained and the robbers fled on foot.

There were no reported injuries during the robbery.

The suspects involved in the robbery are described to be males with thin builds and dark complexions. They are believed to between 20 and 30 years old.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the area of Highway 89/Shore Acres Drive and Yonge Street during the time of the offence.

Investigators are also appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time of the offence and may have dash-camera video.
