Salt truck takes spill, closes Hwy. 400 off-ramp in Innisfil

Perhaps some evidence of the slippery road conditions Monday.

Police closed the Highway 400 northbound off-ramp at Innisfil Beach Road this afternoon, after a salt truck tipped onto its side and into a ditch. No one was injured.

"Please use caution," OPP said in a post on social media.

This is the second crash of note in the area in the last few weeks. An excavator struck and damaged three bridge girders Friday, Jan. 24.
