Two suspects — a male and female who entered the store and used hammers to smash display cases — fled in a dark-coloured SUV driven by a third suspect.

Two suspects used hammers to smash display cases at a Newmarket store and fled with fragrances Wednesday night.

The suspects stole a quantity of fragrances and fled in a dark-coloured sport utility vehicle, driven by a third suspect, police said.

There were no injuries.

The male suspect is described as white, age 20 to 30, with a medium build, wearing black clothing and yellow gloves.

The woman is described as white, wearing a black jacket with fur and black pants.

There is no description for the third suspect in the waiting vehicle.
