Three suspects sought for armed robbery in New Tecumseth

Police are looking for these suspects in connection with an armed robbery at the Esso gas station at 6968 Highway 9 in New Tecumseth.

Police are looking for three suspects following an armed robbery Monday in New Tecumseth.

Shortly after 11 p.m., emergency crews responded to an armed robbery at the Esso gas station at 6968 Highway 9. One of the suspects had brandished a firearm, Nottawasaga OPP said in a news release, adding there were no reports of anything being stolen and there were no injuries.

The first suspect is described as a Black male with a thin to medium build. He was wearing a blue/teal hoodie, black gloves, black jogger-style pants, black lace-up shoes and a black balaclava.

The second is described as a Black male, wearing a black jacket with a hood, green/teal joggers with black stitching on the pockets, black lace-up runners, a black balaclava and a white backpack with black markings.

The third suspect is described as a Black male, wearing a jacket with a hood, black pants, black runners with laces and a black balaclava with white markings on it. He was holding a black semi-automatic pistol in his right hand.

The suspects were last seen running east from the gas station.

Police said there is no threat to public safety.

Residents and motorists who were in the area are asked to review their video surveillance and dash cam footage from 10:30 to 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.
