York Regional Police announced the charges this morning against John McKay, 19, and Ethan Pashak-McNeil, 20.

On Sept. 18 at 7:28 a.m., police say officers responded to the sound of gunshots in the area of Bayview Avenue and Lowndes Avenue, in Keswick.

The victims have been identified as Reilly MacDonald, 21, of Keswick, and Mark Sutcliffe, 39. No hometown was provided for Sutcliffe.

"The relationship between the two accused and the victims has not yet been confirmed, but are believed to be known to each other," police stated in a news release. "Investigators believe there are no outstanding suspects and this was not a random incident."

Police also said there is no threat to the public.
