Barrie police are looking for a man after a woman was allegedly pushed and fell into some bushes just after 4 p.m. Monday in the D’Ambrosio Drive area.
“For whatever reason, (he) pushed the victim, who was unknown to him, and he took off,” said Peter Leon, communications co-ordinator with Barrie police. “He pushed her for some unknown reason.
“She was able to get a picture of him beforehand,” Leon added. “I don’t believe there is any previous knowledge of who the individual is.”
The woman did not suffer any serious injuries, police say.

The man is considered a suspect in an ongoing criminal assault investigation.
D'Ambrosio Drive is located in the city's south end off Yonge Street between Little Avenue and Cox Mill Road.
