Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said today that his government will punish people who have deliberately tried to defraud the CERB system for federal benefits.
In a livestreamed press conference today, Trudeau said he "knew from the beginning" that a small number of "fradusters and criminals" would try to take advantage of the system.
