Peter Robinson

Barrie's Peter Robinson joined the BarrieToday news team as a court reporter in November 2024. Peter also keeps a close eye on local sports and is the author of Hope and Heartbreak in Toronto, his take on living with the disease of being a Leafs fan. He got his start as a sports reporter covering the Barrie Colts in the late 1990s and still thinks it was his most stressful job to date. He's since held various roles for SCOREGolf, NHL Yearbook, Toronto Star Golf Guide, and Prospects Hockey
