InnisfilToday welcomes letters to the editor at [email protected] or via the website. Please include your full name, daytime phone number and address (for verification of authorship, not publication). The following is in response to an article about the safe schools committee, published Nov. 13.

I wanted to extend my sincere gratitude for the recent article highlighting the appointment of an Innisfil resident as chair of the safe schools committee.

It’s both inspiring and reassuring to see dedicated individuals in our community stepping up to foster a secure and inclusive environment in our schools.

The commitment to student safety and well-being is vital, especially in today’s rapidly evolving educational landscape. Knowing that someone with deep roots in our community will lead this charge gives parents, students, and educators confidence that their voices and concerns will be addressed with empathy and integrity.

Thank you once again for bringing attention to this important leadership role. I look forward to seeing the positive impact this committee will have on our schools under such capable guidance.
