Friday Harbour Resort is looking for some brave people to join its annual Take the Plunge polar dip in support of Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH).
The event March 8 will see participants jump into Lake Simcoe to benefit the RVH Foundation’s Keep Life Wild campaign.
Registration costs $25, which includes a hot beverage, an event T-shirt, and a post-plunge hot tub session. All proceeds and donations will go toward the RVH expansion and the creation of a new healthcare facility in Innisfil.
The event will begin at 11 a.m. at Friday Harbour’s Harbour Master Building.

Donations can also be made directly to the RVH Foundation through the event’s fundraising page.
Spectators are welcome to take in the event from the shore, with music from Rock 95/Kool FM, and warm beverages and food available for purchase.
