Halloween at Friday Harbour a sweet success

Visitors were invited to trick-or-treat along the promenade while DJ Redford kept guests dancing as they passed creepy decorations

The Halloween spirit was in full swing at Friday Harbour this past weekend, as hundreds of families and friends celebrated the spooky season that began mid-month.

Friday Harbour’s Hallowalk took “visitors on a journey through the horrors of Halloween along an illuminated path in our Nature Preserve. Travel through the woods, lined with spooky décor and themed zones …” the Official Friday Harbour Instagram account announced on Oct. 12.

A representative from the all-seasons resort told InnisfilToday that many local businesses took part, as visitors were invited to trick-or-treat along the promenade while DJ Redford kept guests dancing as they passed the creepy decorations that were carefully curated for Halloween. They participated in a scavenger hunt, and there was a children’s costume contest and face painting as the sun shone.

As darkness fell, the 19+ After Dark event was held at the Beach Club with DJ Donovan, which included a costume contest for adults last Saturday evening.

Regardless of the season, Friday Harbour is always in the spirit to entertain residents, friends, and guests. Discover the ongoing events, shopping, and cuisine Friday Harbour has to offer by visiting its website.
