Opened in mid-December 2023 at 1208 Ewart St. in Lefroy, the Killarney Beach Market is home to over 40 local artisan vendors.
“We are a ‘gift shop’ of sorts, with something for everyone,” said Barbara Quinton, the founder of the market. “The products range from sweets and treats, fresh and frozen food, bath and body, wellness and metaphysical, kitchenware, sustainable products, kids and adult apparel, home decor and more.”
Quinton’s partner, Daniel, and her eldest son, Nick, assist in the day-to-day operations.
“I love being able to create a warm, inspiring space for the community to spend time, shop and support local, small businesses,” said Quinton. “As well, I absolutely love being able to provide opportunities for small businesses to thrive by showcasing and promoting their creativity and passion.”
Open six days per week, the market is wheelchair accessible and occasionally partners with Brimstone BBQ. Quinton told InnisfilToday they offer delicious grilled breakfast and lunch options.
“Brimstone BBQ has set up at the market a few times and will be back (on) Saturday, March 2nd from 10:30 (a.m.) to 2 p.m.,” said Quinton. “All are welcome.”
The market continues to expand, so vendor applications are available on its website.
“As we move into the spring and summer season we look forward to utilizing the market's outdoor grounds to host vendor markets and fun opportunities for guests of all ages,” said Quinton.
Visit the market from Tuesday to Sunday, and check out its pages on Facebook and Instagram.
