The Innisfil ideaLAB & Library will re-open to the public on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021.

Cookstown, Lakeshore and Stroud Branches will be open for browsing, holds pick-ups, express computer access and use of printers. Capacity will be limited to ensure physical distancing as we once again offer on-site services and invite the community into our branches.

The “Browse, Borrow & Go” service will allow customers to access our library collections, to find, check out and take home items. Staff will be available to assist.

“Although time limits are in place and services are restricted, our doors will open as our Browse, Borrow & Go service returns.” says Innisfil ideaLAB & Library Deputy CEO, Susan Baues. “We know how many residents rely on their library to stay connected, informed and engaged and we can’t wait to see you again.”

Safety is our top priority. Physical distancing and directional signage has been placed around the building with reminders to keep a minimum distance of 2 metres (6 feet) from staff and other customers.  Please be aware that due to capacity limits wait times may occur.

Please refrain from visiting the library if you are feeling unwell. As a reminder, everyone will be asked to wear a face covering while inside the building, including staff.

Our enhanced cleaning protocols will continue for the safety of the public and staff. Computer access will be limited to half an hour per person and staff will disinfect the workstation between each use.

Customers are reminded that curbside pickup service will still be available. All borrowed items will continue to be returned to book drops and will be quarantined for 72 hours before being checked in. Printing and faxing services will be available.
