WEED MAN

This October, two locally owned and operated lawn care franchises in Alliston and Innisfil partnered with customers in the community to donate 357 pounds of food and household items to the Food Bank at Innisfil Community Church!
Throughout the fall season, the teams at Weed Man Innisfil and Weed Man Alliston invited customers to donate shelf-stable, non-perishable food and household items, such as canned soup, pasta, peanut butter, pancake mix, juice, and canned veggies.
During their regularly scheduled fall lawn care services, customers simply left donations on their front porch, where they were collected by their Weed Man technician. Weed Man employees also participated in the food drive, resulting in the ultimate donation of 357 pounds!
“We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of the Weed Man customers who participated in our Grassroots Giving food drive this fall,” says branch manager Sam Dinally, who personally delivered the donations to the food bank. “Because of you, our partners at Innisfil Community Church are providing meals for people in need.”
A representative from Innisfil Community Church says, “Big thanks to Sam the Weed Man for popping in with 357 pounds of food from the food drive they did! Donations were collected from both customers AND employees. Thank you for the support.”
Weed Man’s local Grassroots Giving food drive is a part of Weed Man’s first nation-wide Grassroots Giving campaign, supporting local food banks at more than 100 locations across the United States and Canada during the fall season.
