The Bradford GO Station is currently undergoing several improvements to make life easier for commuters.
The construction focuses on increasing and improving GO service in Bradford by strengthening local transit connections and making it easier for commuters to get where they are going by installing a traffic signal at the Dissette Street entrance; adding new sidewalks into the station from Dissette Street and Bridge Street; upgrading station lighting and CCTV; upgrading parking spaces and rehabilitating the existing parking lot; upgrading stormwater management system; reconfiguring the bus loop with three new bays and installing one new heated shelter.
The work began in early 2022 with the project expected to be finished by the fall of 2023.
To help make the construction situation easier on commuters, parking spots have been added to Bradford GO.
“Recently, we temporarily converted over 90 reserved parking spots to be available for free customer parking during construction,” said a Metrolinx representative.
