Whether it was because it was mid-week, or the signs calling for social distancing, beaches at Innisfil Beach Park weren't overcrowded on Canada Day. At least not around the noon hour.
Due to high volumes of people and physical distancing concerns, no more vehicles will be permitted to enter Innisfil Beach Park. When possible, we will move to a "one vehicle in, one vehicle out" system.

The beach was the scene of chaos last weekend and bylaw officers levied more than 130 infractions during the busy weekend.
There was some concerns that Canada Day might spark more problems.
Late this afternoon, authorities stopped allowing vehicles into the beach area. Because of concerns about physical distancing, a new vehicle will only be allowed entry when a vehicle leaves the parking area.
