Head-on crash in Innisfil sends two drivers to hospital

Emergency crews responded to a head-on crash on Big Bay Point Road, west of McCormick Gate, Wednesday night

A serious collision near the Barrie-Innisfil border sent two drivers to hospital Wednesday night.

Emergency crews responded to a head-on crash on Big Bay Point Road, west of McCormick Gate, in the north end of Innisfil on Oct. 30 at about 8 p.m. South Simcoe police report one of the vehicles crossed over the centre line, hitting a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction. 

Both drivers were transported to hospital, police spokesperson Samah Othman said.

“The investigation is currently ongoing,” she said.
