The West Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a single vehicle collision in Parry Sound.
On Nov. 16, 2024 at approximately 6 p.m., the West Parry Sound OPP, Parry Sound Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Parry Sound Fire Department responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Parry Sound Drive in the Town of Parry Sound. The driver was transported to a Parry Sound area hospital due to injuries.
As a result of the investigation, [a 45-year-old] of Innisfil, Ont. was charged with:
- Operation while impaired
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
- Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on Dec. 19, 2024.
