South Simcoe police says it will continue to have a presence today at Bradford District High School (BDHS) after an online threat was reported on Monday.
"The investigation into a social media post is ongoing. We continue to work with school officials & urge anyone with information to call police or Crime Stoppers," police said in a tweet Tuesday night.
The threat, regarding a shooting, was discovered Monday on social media. While classes were still in session, many students chose not to attend school Tuesday out of an abundance of caution.
Police say they are actively investigating to identify the source and validity of the threat, and are working to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
