Police searching Centennial Park area for missing girl (UPDATE: Located)

Barrie Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for these two girls, who went missing late Saturday afternoon. Call 911 if you see them.

UPDATE: At 7:35 p.m., Barrie Police said they are "very happy to advise" that the missing eight-year-old has been returned home safe and sound and in the company of the adult she was with.

Barrie Police are asking the public to keep their eye out for a missing Barrie girl.

The eight-year-old was last seen in the Centennial Beach area late Saturday afternoon.

"We have called in search teams," said Staff Sgt. Dave Luce. "There are a lot of units in the area searching for this young girl."

He could not provide further details, but asked members of the public to be on the lookout for the two children pictured. They may be with another male child and a female adult.

If you see the children, you are asked to call 911.
