Bradford driver nabbed for speeding in Innisfil

Police say the 21-year-old was clocked at 52km over the speed limit

On Thursday, April 1, 2021, at approximately 5:20 a.m., a South Simcoe Police Service officer observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Yonge Street near the 3rd Line in Innisfil.  

The vehicle was clocked at going 52 km/h over the posted speed limit. A traffic stop was conducted.

As a result of the investigation, 21-year-old Daniel Fialho of Bradford was charged with speeding and stunt driving.

His licence was suspended for seven days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.

As we head into the long Easter Weekend, we urge you to make the right choices for your safety and the safety of others. If you're going to drink or get high, don't drive and please slow down on our roads.
