A New Tecumseth man has been charged in relation to a historical sexual assault investigation.
Nottawasaga OPP began the investigation in August after someone reported being sexually assaulted in 2010. At the time of the alleged incident, the accused and the victim lived in the same residential community in Beeton, police said in a news release.
John Wilkinson has been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference. He has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Bradford on Sept. 26.
