Barrie police are investigating after they received a call today at 12:35 p.m. about a man wielding a knife in the north end.
Police say officers searched the Georgian Mall property on Bayfield Street and also the vicinity near Walmart, across the street.
“He was gone upon (police) arrival, but we know who he is,” Barrie police communications co-ordinator Peter Leon told BarrieToday.
